WAIVER OF THE DEMOLITION DELAY ORDINANCE
It is hereby certified that the Salem Historical Commission has waived the Demolition Delay Ordinance
for the proposed demolition as described below, as per the requirements set forth in the Historic District's
Act (M.G.L. Ch. 40C) and the Salem Historic Districts Ordinance.

Description of Demolition Work Proposed:
Demolish garage building older than 50 years.
Per the Demolition Delay Ordinance, the Commission made the following findings:
1) The Commission voted unanimously to find the building not historically significant.
2) Applicant to provide dimensions and photographs of structure, including ¾ views.
3) Applicant must secure all required local and state permits and approvals prior to demolition of
structure.
