Dear Owner
Upon my recent inspection and our recent phone conversations regarding your property located
at 13 Willow Avenue I have determined that an illegal dwelling unit Still exists on the third
floor of the above referenced property .This property Is a legal two family house and the third
floor was made into an illegal apartment . The home is being used as an illegal three family
home. This home needs to be turned back into a two family.
You are hereby directed to contact this office immediately upon receipt of this letter.
Failure to respond to this notification will be construed as non-compliance,and as such an
Administrative Search Warrant will be sought, so as to allow the lawful inspection of this property. If
you feel you are aggrieved by my zoning interpretation,your Appeal is to the Salem Zoning Board of
Appeals. If you feel you are aggrieved by the Building code sections,your Appeal is to the Board of
Buildings, Regulations and Standards in Boston.
