These records indicated that you offered the above referenced property for stays on these platforms twice on Expedia and 31 listings on Airbnb in 2024. These bookings are in violation of City of Salem Code of Ordinances, Sec. 2-705, Certificate of fitness of rented dwelling unit, apartment, or tenement, ¶(3)Short-term rentals. This is a total of 33 bookings in 2024 in violation of city ordinance. Therefore, you are hereby ordered to pay a fine of$9,900.00 for these bookings. Furthermore,you are hereby ordered to cease and desist operation of this illegal short-term rental.
