RE: Stop Work Order; Working without permit.
Dear Property Owner,
As of October 31, 2025, it has come to the attention of the Building Department that
landscaping work continued after it was ordered to stop on October 29, 2025. This is a
violation of the Salem Code of Ordinances Section 12-2 and the International Building
Code Section 105.1.
No further landscaping work may continue until all required documentation has been
submitted and all necessary approvals have been issued. Please contact the Building
Department upon receipt of this notice. If you are aggrieved by this determination, you
may file an appeal with the Board of Building Regulations and Standards.
