An application is being submitted to the Board of Appeals for the following reason(s):
To split the ground floor unit in two and make the prior nonconforming office use into another nonconforming office use in the front and a
conforming residential use in the rear.
For this reason, I am requesting:
[ true ]Variance (s) from provisions of Section 5.1.8 - Parking and Lot Area Per Dwelling Unit of the Zoning Ordinance, specifically from
Parking: proposal would require 6.5 spaces where only 5 exist; and Lot Area Per Dwelling Unit: Proposal would require 10,500 SF (3
dwelling units) where only 4,966 SF exists..
[ true ] A Special Permit under Section 3.3.2 of the Zoning Ordinance in order to Change from one nonconforming use to another, not
more detrimental, nonconforming use.

The Undersigned hereby petitions the Board of Appeals to vary the terms of the Salem Zoning Ordinance and allow the project to be
constructed as per the plans submitted, as the enforcement of said Zoning By-Laws would involve practical difficulty or unnecessary
hardship to the Undersigned and relief may be granted without substantially derogating from the intent and purpose of the Zoning
Ordinance.
