Based upon a tenant complaint, an inspection was conducted in accordance with Article II of the
State Sanitary Code, 105 CMR 410.000. Upon inspection, the following were noted:
24-48 hours .180 1. Tenant had complaint of insufficient heat in the unit. At the time of inspection, the following
temperatures were recorded:
Living room: 64.5 degrees F
Kitchen: 65.7 degrees F
Son’s bedroom: 67.2 degrees F
Bathroom: 65.4 degrees F.
Heating system must be in good working order and able to provide heat at a minimum of 68
degrees F. between 7am-11pm and a minimum of 64 degrees F. between 11:01pm and
6:59am. Inspect heating system and all radiators to ensure they are working properly and
are able to meet the above temperature requirements, and conduct any repairs necessary to
maintain these temperatures. Owner to correct this violation within 24-48 hours.
7 days .500 2. Bathroom ceiling has peeling paint on it. Scrape and repaint so ceiling is intact and in good
condition. Owner to correct this violation within 7 days.
7 days .235 3. Toilet appears to be running. Repair so toilet can be flushed properly without running. Owner
to correct this violation within 7 days.
One or more of the above violations may endanger or materially impair the health, safety and well-being of the occupant(s)
