Dear Owner,
During a mandatory inspection on November 6,2025,the following violations were
observed:
-Illegal and unpermitted finished space in basement with bedroom, bathroom, and small
kitchen.
-First floor unit: One of the two means of egress passes through a room being used as a
bedroom.
-Absent smoke alarms in both units.
-Absent carbon monoxide alarms in both units.
-Interior work being performed without permits; new walls and electrical in second floor
unit.
You are directed to:
-Install smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms throughout the entire building upon receipt of
this notice.
-Cease and desist use of the finished basement space upon receipt of this notice.
-Stop all work until proper permitting and approvals have taken place upon receipt of this notice.
Failure to comply will result in municipal ticketing
