Dear owner,
After a mandatory building inspection on October 27, 2025, it was observed that the building at 9
Cushing Street has a finished basement with a kitchen. This letter is to inform you that the rooms
in this basement are not to be used as bedrooms as they are not code compliant. It was also
observed that a hallway closet was constructed on the top floor of the building. Please be advised
that this closet is to be used for storage purposes only and not to be used as a bedroom.
Failure to comply will result in municipal ticketing. If you are aggrieved by this notice,your
appeal is to the Board of Building Regulations and Standards.
