Steve, lets meet one more time Friday or Saturday would be good? Then we can sign the contracts and get deposits fof% both projects to be done ,as I keep writing hopefully I will answer your questions. Question 1 >"Does eliminating 4 downspouts have any price impact?"Please accept no because of the extra work we will need to do when we are up there doing the other work(we will) 1. Install new copper to the two rubber roof triangles @ the bottom the materials install are done improper and that is why the insulation is soft when you walk on it(I will show you when upthere 2.With that said the other rubber roof needs to be reflashed and repaired in many areas as well. Question 2>"Can we still do some work around the roof vents to eliminate the currant leak"?------Yes, If we or you have a chance to eliminate one or ten ,lets do it that's one less you have to worry about, and in conjunction with question 1 when we remove to existing materials(shingles ,tar, wood Etc. that much more needs to be done with the vents now staying except one, So with the removal of all existing shingle around the chimney we will remove the shingles around all vents, remove the one ,patch with wood ,remove all cement around the others and apply proper underlayment and new shingles(color to match as close as possible)...Flash all vents properly step flashed and sealed. The Chimney process is on the contract, Question 3> Can we get there to remove the existing gutters and brackets?Yes , but really not in till permit is confirmed and approved , but I don't see the harm in it by then the Appreciation will be in-waiting. after removing the existing materials we will need some time to order the special order-2-3 weeks then in or around the end of the month ....roughly. So as it stands with both projects to be...Copper gutters and DS....materials and labor...............................$ 19,245.00 Cost for materials and labor.....................Copper Chimney, remove one vent, repair and re-flash all other vents on the right side of the chimney, Install copper to the two rubber roofs and flash with rubber EPDM ,and more repairs the larger rubber roof, check entire roof and repair as needed-- record all events that are done. remove all debris from the grounds properly dispose of..............$3,645.00 >Total cost for both projects being done .........................................................................................................$22,890.00 >One third of the balance due before the start to order materials and permits to be p• led.........................-r 7U3t1ur >One more third needed after chimney area and upper roof specs are donepsabownerownerand the half rounds gutters are done by 50%............................................ ............... .........$ 7,630.00 > Rest pon comple' ns and satisfaction of the home owners.................... ............. .......... $ 7,630.00 hank you ing/Home OwnerJames L Currier/Owner/President w Rd.Bonn Construction Co.lnc. a 01970 100 Ferncroft Rd Unit 204 Danvers Me 01923 Shop# 978-750-8881 Fax # 978-531-9202 Em.# 978-490-0818 Please sign and return with your payment............Thank you .
