Will hold a public hearing for all persons interested in the petition of JEREMY SCHWARTZ&SHELBY
SOLOFF at 26 WINTER STREET (Map 35,Lot 0081) (112 Zoning District) for a Special Permit per Section
3.3.2 Nonconforming Uses and Variances per Sections 5.1.5(5.b),5.1.5(6.a),5.1.6(2), and 5.1.8 Of Street Parking of
the Salem Zoning Ordinance.The Special Permit would allow a change in use from a nonconforming three-
family structure to a nonconforming nine-guestroom inn with one (1) residential unit.The Variance requests
would allow the petitioner to create two (2) tandem parking spaces (5.1.5[5]),a one-way entry drive of eleven
feet two inches (11'2") (5.1.5[6.a]), four(4)parking spaces within two feet (2") of the property line (5.1.6[2]),
and 11 parking spaces where 12 are required (5.1.8).
The Board will hold the public hearing remotely on Wednesday,August 20,2025,at 6:30 PM,with the
meeting link at Salemma.;ov, 877/Z,oning-Board-Of—Appeals.The agenda will be posted to the City Calendar
and online at Salemina.,ov by August 20,2025.The City is authorized to conduct remote meetings of its
public bodies through special acts of the Massachusetts State Legislature.
