Good Morning Jeremy and Shelby, as a follow-up, the Board requested the following information for the
September 17 Meeting:
1. A landscape plan depicting vegetation on the property (photographs of landscaping for the existing
property would fulfill this request as well).
2. A plan showing turning radii and access to/from parking spaces on the property.
3. Dollars-and-cents proof for why nine guestrooms are required for the proposed use (rather than a
proposal with fewer guestrooms, such as the six guestrooms allowed by Special Permit from the ZBA).
4. A floorplan of the existing house and/or description of the work/changes to the property into a nine-
guestroom inn.
5. Information on the occupancy and market demand for lodging in Salem.
Additionally, the Board seemed amenable to a proposal that would provide off-street parking rather
than request variances for parking relief.
Thank you,
