The Petitioner is requesting a Special Permit for the former Surrette Battery industrial
building, located at 10 Jefferson Avenue, to allow a change in use to retail stores .and
offices and parking to contain 39 spaces, also the vacant lot at the rear of the building
will be used for additional parking spaces. Some of the buildings will be removed in
accordance with the plans submitted. The first floor to house retail stores, second floor
to be converted to offices at a later date. Parking spaces will be renovated, they will
install paved walkways at front and rear. The fence will be reapired or replaced.' The
'L remaining buildings will be sandblasted clean.
SPECIAL PERMIT GRANTED WITH RESTRICTIONS!
The Board voted to grant the Special Permit requested with the following restrictions;
1. Supplies and materials deliveries use only Jefferson Avenue.
2. Stockade fence sin (6) 'feet high be erected abutting residential properties.
3. No truck deliveries before 7:00 A.M. or after 6:00 P.M. on Winthrop Street.
4. Operation of businesses only from 6:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
5. Eight structures will be demolished, neatly filled in and the area cleaned up.
6. Back lot to be used only for live car parking and delivery only.
7. No use specifically excluded from R-c, R-1, and R-2 districts will be allowed.
8. A fence will be erected on all lines abutting R-2 properties
9. The rrubbish'dumpster will be on WinthropryStreet side;_andtshall-be-enclosedain..masonry.

11. Two stairs and corridor shall be included for second story areas.
