You are hereby ORDERED to make a good-faith effort to correct the violations listed on the enclosed inspection report and to take all positive action to prevent these violations from occurring again in the future. Violation(s) Based upon a tenant complaint a permitted inspection was conducted in accordance with Article II of the State Sanitary Code, 105 CMR 410.000. Upon inspection, the following were noted: 14 days .280; .281 1. Tenant had complaint about ventilation in the bathroom being inoperable/inconsistent. At the time of inspection, it was noted that no air was being drawn into the vent in the bathroom, and there was no mechanical means to turn it on. Mechanical ventilation in bathrooms shall be capable of 5 air changes per hour and shall have a readily accessible means for shut-off, indicating there must also be an accessible means to turn it on. Owner shall ensure the above conditions of required air changes and mechanical control are met. Owner to correct this violation within 14 days.
