During an inspection of the property at 7 Fairfield Street on August 29, 2025, it was observed
and reported that there was an unpermitted basement rental unit with improper means of egress.
This is a follow up notice to ensure that the tenant has vacated the premises as their space has
been deemed unsafe due to their secondary means of egress not meeting current standards.
If you are aggrieved by this notice, your appeal is to the Board of Building Regulations and
Standards.
