Notification of a Release Abatement Measure;
Release Tracking Numbers (RTNs) 3-27023 and 3-38038
Ladies and Gentlemen:
Pursuant to the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP; 310 CMR 40.0447), a Release
Abatement Measure (RAM) will be performed at the above referenced location. Response
actions at this site will be conducted by North Shore Community Development Coalition
(NSCDC) who has employed Mr. Joseph G. Lombardo, Jr., L.S.P. of McPhail Associates, LLC
to manage response actions in accordance with the MCP.
A RAM Plan has been prepared to address the MCP requirements that apply with respect to
proposed renovation activities at the MCP site to which RTNs 3-27023 and 3-38038 applies.
The objective of the RAM will be to perform excavation, management, and disposal of a
localized area of soil at the subject site that has been impacted by a release of volatile
petroleum hydrocarbons (VPH) and extractable petroleum hydrocarbons (EPH). It is
anticipated that the RAM will commence by the end of May 2024.
