Will hold a public hearing for all persons interested in the petition of ADIMIR TOSKA at 22 PRESCOTT
STREET (Map 25,Lot 0526) (R2 Zoning District) for a Special Permit per Section 3.3.5 Nonconforming Single-
and Two-Family Residences and a Variance per Section 4.1.1 Dimensional Requirements of the Salem Zoning
Ordinance.The Variance would allow the construction of a dormer across the east and west sides of the
house's third floor,creating a three-story building.The Special Permit would allow the construction of a two-
story staircase,decreasing the nonconforming house's rear setback from 19 feet 3 inches to 13 feet 9 inches.
The Board will hold the public hearing remotely on Wednesday,August 20,2025,at 6:30 PM,with the
meeting link at Salemm�.gov/877!`Loniiig-Board-Of-Appeals.The agenda will be posted to the City Calendar
and online at Salemma.gov by August 20,2025.The City is authorized to conduct remote meetings of its
public bodies through special acts of the Massachusetts State Legislature.
