Sale of the above property, published in the Salem Evening News.
The foreclosure sale will be held on the premises at 454 Perkins
Street, Salem, Massachusetts, at 10:00 A. M. on Friday, August 15, 1980.

MORTGAGEE'S SALE OF REAL ESTATE
By virtue and in execution of the POWER OF SALE con-
tained in a certain mortgage given by LAURENCE W.
GALLANT and MARY A. GALLANT, 17 Scenna Road,.
Beverly, Massachusetts, to ST. JOSEPH CREDIT UNION,
dated October 24, 1973, and recorded with Essex South
District Registry of Deeds, Book 6022, Page 727, of which
mortgage the undersigned is the present holder,for breach of
the conditions of said mortgage and for the purpose of
foreclosing, the same will be sold at Public Auction at 10:00
A.M.on the fifteenth day of August,1980,at 54 Perkins Street,
Salem, Massachusetts,' all and singular the premises
described in said mortgage,to wit:
The land with the buildings thereon situated in said Salem
together with the buildings thereon, bounded and described
as follow:
EASTERLY by Perkins Street,thirty-three(33)feet;
SOUTHERLY by land now or late of Dennis,fifty(50)feet;
WESTERLY by land formerly of Owens,now or late of Rivet,
thirty-three(33)feet; and
NORTHERLY by land now or late of Thibault,fifty(50)feet.
Excepting therefrom whatever portion was taken by the
City of Salem for the widening of Perkins Street under a
taking recorded June 1, 1915 and recorded with Essex South
District Registry of Deeds in Book 2296 Page 202.
Being the same premises conveyed to us by deed of
Leonard A. Cormier et ux, dated September 7, 1973 and
recorded with said Registry of Deeds,Book 6011,Page 391.
TERMS OF SALE: Said premises will be sold subject to
and with the benefit of all restrictions, easements, im-
provements, outstanding tax titles, municipal liens or other
public taxes, assessments, liens and existing encumbrances
of record, created prior to the mortgage, whether or not
reference to such restrictions, easements, improvements,
liens or encumbrances is made in the deed. $2,000.00 of
purchase price shall be paid in cash at the time and place of
sale and the balance within 21 days at the office of the mor-
tgagee, located at 3 Harbor Street, Salem, Massachusetts.
This date and place may,however,be altered by agreement
of the parties to the sale.If the purchaser fails to comply with
these conditionnE,the deposit shall belong to the mortgagee as
liquidated damages.
