Beginning at the SOUTHWESTERLY corner thereof and then running
NORTHERLY on Broadway, fifty (50) feet; thence turning and running
EASTERLY by land now or formerly of Tidewater Leather Company, one
hundred (100) feet; thence turning and running SOUTHERLY by Lot No.
97 on plan of land hereinafter referred to, fifty (50) feet; and then
turning and running WESTERLY by Lot No. 94 on said plan, one hundred
(100) feet to the point of beginning.
Containing Five Thousand (5000) square feet and being Lot No . 96
on plan or portion of the Estate of James F. Almy, Salem December, 1927,
T. A. Appleton, C. E. recorded with said Registry of Deeds Plan Book 54 ,
Plan 93 .
Being the same premises taken for non-payment of taxes by the
City of Salem by instrument recorded on January 5, 1979 , in the Essex
South District Registry of Deeds, Book 5955 , Page 302. See also
"Final Deed" recorded on September 28 , 1979 , in Book 6637, Page 504 .
This Deed is made pursuant to the authority granted in a certain
vote of the City Council dated , a certified copy of
which is attached and is made a part of this Deed.

CHAPTER 183 SEC. 6 AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 497 OF 1969
Every deed presented for record shall contain or have endorsed upon it the full name, residence and post office address of the grantee
and a recital of the amount of the full consideration thereof in dollars or the nature of the other consideration therefor, if not delivered
for a specific monetary sum. The full consideration shall mean the total price for the conveyance without deduction for any liens or en-
cumbrances assumed by the grantee or remaining thereon. All such endorsements and recitals shall be recorded as part of the deed.
Failure to comply with this section shall not affect the validity of any deed. No register of deeds shall accept a deed for recording
unless it is in compliance with the requirements of this section.
