Re: fire at 16 Eden Street
Dear Sirs ,
The above property suffered a fire on 12/10/2019. The home suffered structural damage in the
second floor front room and the damage continued into the roof structure above. The rest of the
property suffered smoke and water damage. The home is uninhabitable and we have had a local
board up company secure the property. The occupant of the home, Mohamed Saddeek Mohymen
,was not injured.
The City will be placing a lien on the property to cover the Board up costs . I am requiring that
you contact me to discuss your plans to repair or remove the home and to clean up the exterior of
the home. I should also mention that hoarding seemed to be an issue and that the interior has a
significant amount of personal content.
Failure to address this property will result in further enforcement actions by the City.
