Dear Ms. Moore:
Pursuant to 310 CMR 40.1403(3)(d)of the Massachusetts Contingency Plan(MCP),the
following serves as written notification of the submittal of a Release Abatement Measure
(RAM)Plan. This submittal is regarding proposed response actions to address a release of
non-polychlorinated biphenyl mineral oil dielectric fluid that occurred from a pad-mounted
electrical transformer formerly in use at I Courageous Court, Salem, Massachusetts. This
letter follows notification to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection
(MassDEP)on October 7,2024, and the submittal of a RAM Plan to the MassDEP on or
about April 4, 2025. MassDEP assigned Release Tracking Number(RTN) 3-50926 to this
release condition. A copy of the above-referenced report is available for viewing at the
MassDEP. A copy of this report may also be obtained by contacting the undersigned in
writing.
