Due to complaints received, an investigation was
made by this office, in company with the Salem Fire
Marshal and Deputy Chief Bates, of the Salem Fire Dept.
HEREWITH: The two chimneys of subject property are in
need of Immediate attention due to a dangerous condition
of deteriontion of the brickwork. This is a serious
problem which could easily result in personal injury to
tenants or abutters, and is quite evident,
Reference may be made to Sections 124.1 and 124.2
of the Mass, State Building Code requiring immediate action
to be taken.
