21 Webb Street Engineer's Explanation for CROD Compliance Outlook Re: 21 Webb Street CROD Applicability From Bob Griffin <bgriffin@griffineng.com> Date Tue 7/8/2025 1:51 PM To Bill Quinn <billquinnlaw@gmail.com>; Brennan Postich <bpostich@salem.com>; Dominic Pezzulo <pezzuloda@gmail.com> Caution: This email originated from outside our system. Hello Brennan, We believe the project meets CROD criteria (Zoning Ordinance section 8.9): The highest CROD elevation in the footprint of the proposed building is elevation 14.0 feet. Residential uses (habitable space) and building mechanical and electrical equipment are at elevation 15.0 feet or higher (see 8.9.4). The enclosed space below the first floor will be a crawlspace, with engineered flood openings allowing floodwater passage without human intervention. Incidental storage is allowed in the crawlspace and may occur (see 8.9.4). The building height calculation meets CROD (see 8.9.6.1). Should you have other questions, please let me know. Bob G.
