To Whom it may concern,
The property located at 2 Dustin Street is a single family Home located in a R-I Zone(Single
Family). We understand that a single doorway had been blocked and a stove added creating a
small in-law type area. The City of Salem does not allow in-law units under our Zoning
Ordinance and we further understand that permits will be pulled to remove the partition and to
eliminate the stove before the Fire Department does their Smoke Detector Certificate.
In case of Catostophic Loss, the home may be rebuilt in the same footprint,area and height within
two years of date of loss.
