Dear Mr. Almeida:
In accordance with Chapter II of the State Sanitary Code, 105 CMR 410.000, Minimum
Standards of Fitness for Human Habitation, a recent re-inspection was conducted of your
property located at 320 Lafayette Street Unit 206, conducted by Jeffrey Barosy, Sanitarian of
the Salem Board of Health on July 28, 2025. At that time the following items were still
outstanding:
Living Room:
- The living room window has a screen on its right side but missing a screen on the left
side.
- According to the occupant, water still penetrates the living room through the living
room window. The inspector could not confirm this at the time of inspection because
it was not raining. The inspector orders the property owner to provide documentation
of the work performed to prevent the infiltration of water.
- According to the occupant, the ceiling in front of the living room window still leaks.
The inspector could not confirm this at the time of inspection because it was not
raining. The inspector orders the property owner to provide documentation of the
work performed to stop the water leakage.
Porch:
- According to the occupant, water still penetrates the bedroom through the sliding
doors leading to the porch. The inspector could not confirm this at the time of
inspection because it was not raining. The inspector orders the property owner to
provide documentation of the work performed to prevent the infiltration of water.
Please correct the outstanding violations and contact this office to schedule a final re-inspection
of this apartment.
All other violations noted in the inspection report of June 26, 2025, have been corrected.

the ceiling so its plaster is intact. If the curtain fixture is removed, repaint the affected
