Decision: The Design Review Board recommend approval of the outdoor dining as it was
submitted.
Referenced Plans and Documents:
- Barrio Application EPOD-1, Barrio Site Plan, City Smoke Shop Approval, Patio_Table_Specs, Photo of Outdoor
Dining, Photo of Tables and Chairs.
Conditions of Approval:
- Consistency with Approved Design/Plans: Should the applicant determine that the project may not be completed
as presented and conditioned herein, he/she/they shall return to the DRB to review proposed modifications prior to
making any changes in the field.
- The outdoor dining area shall be set up in accordance with the application materials. If the set-up, including, but
not limited to, tables, chairs, plain umbrellas, must be adjusted, the applicant shall reach out to the Principal
Planner in advance of making any changes.
Findings:
- The Design Review Board found that the outdoor dining area, as presented and conditioned herein, is consistent
with the design standards and guidelines in the City's Outdoor Dining Policy and the Downtown Renewal Plan.

Below are emails exchanged between the City Smoke Shop and Barrio with there approval of use of
parking spots on Lafayette side of building.
We have always had a good working relationship. As you may be aware they also have private parking in
front of their store front. We have assured them that Barrios use will not interfere with their business
needs.
