RE: Property Maintenance
Dear owner,
As of May 27, 2025, it has come to my attention that the fence of the property at 72
Highland Avenue has fallen over and needs repair. This is a code violation of
section 101.4.4 Property Maintenance. In addition, it was also observed there is
possibly storage of an unregistered vehicle which is a violation of the City of
Salem's Ordinances section 24-21.
You are directed to remove the possibly unregistered vehicle and fix the fallen
fence within 5 days of receipt of this letter.
Contact the building department at 978 619 5662 upon receipt of this letter to avoid
municipal ticketing. If you are aggrieved by this notice, your appeal is to the
Building Code Appeals Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.
