I am writing as Architect of Record for the above referenced project. During the recent final inspection, I
reported incorrect occupancy estimates and request modification to allow for a total occupancy of 180 persons.
Below are relevant calculations to support my request.
Occupancy Limits from the least restrictive to the most:
Egress—the doors/paths combine for 480+persons,capacity significantly exceeds occupant load by area.
Occupant Load by Areas—273 when counting Beer Garden.
Per Chapter 10 of the Mass Building Code,the Design Occupant Load is as follows:

c) Not more than 98 persons can occupy the occupy the Beer Garden at anyone time including serving staff.
