Hello members of the Zoning Board,
My name is Tom Scudder and I live at 4 Francis Rd. My home is right up the street from the proposed
location for the new storage facility on Jefferson.
In the five years that I've lived in my neighborhood, I've seen a number of welcome changes geared
toward providing a more neighborhood feeling to an area of Salem greatly in need of one. Approving
a massive storage facility would be doing the neighborhood a tremendous disservice, especially when
the proposed facility is across the street from another storage facility and not far from yet a third
storage facility!
Looking to the future, I'd love my neighborhood to actually feel more and more like a real
neighborhood and not just a place for other neighborhoods to store their junk.
