Will hold a public hearing for all persons interested in the petition of CHRISTOPHER GIZZI at 8
LATHROP STRET (Map 36, Lot 336) (R2 Zoning District) for a Special Permit per Section 3.3.3
Nonconforming Structures of the Salem Zoning Ordinance to demolish an existing porch and to build a
new porch and spiral staircase in its place. The new addition would decrease the nonconformity on
the rear yard from 10’ to 15’ where 30’ is required in the R2. The public hearing will be held on
Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 6:30 PM via remote participation. The agenda will be posted to the
City Calendar and the Board of Appeals page on www.salem.com by January 8, 2025, in accordance
with Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023.
