Zoning Petition for 15 Abbott Street, Salem, MA
Hi Voula:
On behalf of my clients, the Petitioners and owners of 15 Abbott Street, we respectfully request
that under your authority to do so, you waive the filing of a street scale plan or rendering with
our petition.
Although our request to add a third-floor dormer on one side triggers a need for approval of a
changes in height measured in stories from 2.5 stories to three stories, there will no actual
increase in the building's height measured in feet as shown on the Plot Plan
The cost of about $900.00 for our architect to produce a such a streetscape plan seems like an
unnecessary and burdensome cost under these circumstances where the relative building height
in feet is unchanged, and easily visible from the street in front of the building.
