The Undersigned hereby petitions the Board of Appeals to vary the terms of the Salem Zoning Ordinance and allow the project to be
constructed as per the plans submitted,as the enforcement of said Zoning By-Laws would involve practical difficulty or unnecessary
hardship to the Undersigned and relief may be granted without substantially derogating from the intent and purpose of the Zoning
Ordinance.

We,the management team of La Bodeguita de Yolanda,are seeking approval to add a deli section to our existing convenience store.Our goal
is to expand our offerings and better serve our community,providing high-quality,freshly prepared foods to complement our current
selection of grocery and convenience items.
My goal is to provide the community with a spanish traditional convenience store where aside from shopping for your grocery needs you can also grab
a bite to cat.We will be having a special potato chip wall where kids can come after School and build their own nachos snack by the staff @5 for
students!I'm looking to give back to the community I was the oldest in my house and I used to always go to the local comer store and I remember how
fun it was to go I wanna bring that back for kids and my community by providing the best service and prices!I will also be providing employment
opportunities for the community.Offering deli items will enhance convenience for individuals and families who may not have time to prepare meals
but wish to enjoy fresh and healthy food options.
.Salem community has a big drought when it comes to convenience stores for the Spanish community the closest Spanish owned Convenience store is
on 101 Foster St.in Peabody from that store to the locatoon on 34 Boston St.,Salem it's about 1.5 to 2 mile radius of all Spanish community that only
has one store in the area with out food!Then as far as Spanish restaurants and Spanish fast food there's only one Spanish restaurant in Peabody and
two in Salem and at the address where the store is we have a 280 apartment complex directly in front of the store aside from the surrounding buildings
on that street which are mostly Hispanics residents.We plan to source deli meats,cheeses,and produce from local suppliers,fostering stronger
conmiunity relationships and supporting local businesses.
We have identified a suitable area within the store to house the deli section, ensuring that
it will not disrupt existing operations. Our store layout will accommodate the deli while
maintaining a safe and comfortable shopping environment Qualified Staff We will hire
skilled staff with experience in deli operations to ensure quality and safety standards are
met. Training will also be provided to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Health and Safety Standards: We are committed to maintaining the highest hygiene
standards. The deli area will comply with local health codes, and we will obtain all
necessary permits and certifications.
Licensing and Inspections: We will follow all required procedures to secure proper
licensing, including any necessary inspections to ensure the deli meets health department
standards.
Adding a deli section to La Bodeguita de Yolanda is a strategic decision aimed at meeting
the evolving needs of our customers and further contributing to the local community. We
believe this addition will enhance our store offerings and positively impact both our
business and the people we serve.
