Will hold a public hearing for all persons interested in the petition of JESSE DEBENEDICTIS at 53
APPLETON STREET(Map 27,Lot 0169) (R2 Zoning District) for a Variance per Section 4.1.1 Dimensional
Requirements and a Permit per Section 3.3.5 Nonconforming Single-and Two-Family Residential Structures to modify an
existing non-conforming two-family structure by extending the roof top of the second floor.This will create a
three (3) story building where two-and-a-half(2.5) stories are allowed.
The public hearing will be held on Wednesday,March 19,2025,at 6:30 PM via remote participation.The
agenda will be posted to the City Calendar and the Board of Appeals page on www.salem.com by March 14,
2025 in accordance with Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023.
