Hi Brennan:
After discussion with our team, I believe that our parking calculations as shown on our most recently
filed surveyor's plan, and also recited in the Semasko &Verbridge architectural package are correct.
and explained in the attached letter from our architect, Thadeus Semasko.
The Davita allocation of 43 spaces is unchanged from the one approved under their original Special
Permit. The calculation of 98 spaces for the retail grocery store is based upon 1 space per 150 SF of
gross space minus storage.
There is no specific parking requirement for adult day care, but our calculation of 22 spaces is based
on the formula for a "Medical Clinic", which is defined in or Ordinance as any entity, for profit or not,
which is advertised, announced or maintained under a name which includes "clinic", "dispensary" or
"institute" that provides ambulatory, medical, physical or mental health services for human beings, or
which dispenses medication, or provides ambulatory , physical, or mental health services. The
applicant's regular staff includes two (2) licensed registered nurses, and other trained staff who
routinely assist our attendees with such ser4vices, overseeing and dispensing medications to its
attendees, including insulation injections, providing them with routine medical care and advice and
nutrition advice, and ambulatory support and medication and health care counselling. In its
advertising and promotions, the applicant will use the words either "clinic" or "Institute" to clarify this
use.
I have included Thad Semasko's explanation of the parking allocations, and a pdf set of his final
submission package.

I hope that this is a satisfactory explanation, but am available for further discussion of this, or any
other issue at any time. Thanks for your review of our application.
