Tucker <dmtucker@salempd.net> Cc: Beth Rennard <BRennard@Salem.com> Subject: safety of outdoor dining area at Red Line Cafe Hi Lieutenant, The Design Review Board reviewed the outdoor dining area at Red Line Café last night. They voted to approve it but did question the safety of customers as trucks often take wide turns coming up from Central Street and turning left on to Essex Street. Do you see any potential conflict between the seating area and the vehicular traffic there? I’ve attached photos of the space so you can see what I’m talking about.
