Standards of Fitness for Human Habitation, a re-inspection of your property located at
205 Highland Avenue Unit 2307 was conducted by Jeffrey Barosy, Sanitarian of the
Salem Board of Health on March 11, 2025.
All violations noted in the inspection report of February 10, 2025, have been
corrected.
During the re-inspection new violations were observed. Please see the "NOTES"
section in the attached report for further details.

heating system so it works as designed and so it can hold temperatures in all rooms
between 64*F and 78*F during the day during the heating season.

This re-inspection doubles as a Certificate of Fitness inspection. The property manager is required to acquire a new Certificate
of Fitness whenever there is turnover in a dwelling unit per City of Salem ordinance.The dwelling unit was vacant at the time of
inspection.
The violations noted in the housing letter of February 10, 2025 have been corrected and the case pertaining to this housing
complaint has been closed.
During the inspection new violations were noted:the toilet does not flush, and two dead cockroaches were observed in the
bathtub. These violations will need to be corrected before the dwelling unit can acquire its Certificate of Fitness and be rented.
The property manager is ordered to have the toilet repaired and the dwelling unit exterminated. If a licensed pest control service
is used, have copies of the pest control reports delivered to the inspector by mail or email.
When these violations are corrected, contact the inspector to schedule a re-inspection for the Certificate of Fitness.
