it is my opinion that you may proceed to issue the building permit
applied for, provided that all other elements of the applicable
codes and laws are satisfied.

A G R E E M E N T
We, HUGH J. DICKSON, JR. and LORRAINE M. DICKSON, being the
owners of certain property located at Lot 4, Dearborn Lane, Salem,
Massachusetts , conveyed to us by deed of Nicholas J. Decoulas, Trustee . -
of the Dearborn Lane Realty Trust, by deed dated November 19, 1979 and
recorded with Essex South District Registry of Deeds Book 6654 ,
Page 298, hereby agree and acknowledge that our Application for
Permit to Build dated October 23 , 1979 may be inaccurate in that the
boundary lines set forth therein may not be accurate due to the
failure of the original subdivsion plan to correctly locate said
boundary.
We understand that, if our Application for Permit to Build is
approved and upon a resurveying of said boundaries, our house has
been constructed in such a manner as not to comply with the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Salem, it shall be our responsibility to
seek relief from the Board of Appeals of the City of Salem and we
hereby agree to do so upon being informed of said failure.
Further, we agree to indemnify and hold harmless all officials
of the City of Salem from any action or liability incurred by them
in approving our Application for Permit to Build.
