You have asked whether the existing property located in a R-2 Zoning District can be converted to 5 dwelling units and the answer is no. The property located at 11 Foster Street is a conforming 2-family use in an R-2 Zoning District. Converting this to a 5- dwelling unit is not allowed by- right nor permitted in the R-2 Zoning District. At this time, a building permit will not be issued for your proposed 5-dwelling unit building.
