WAIVER OF THE DEMOLITION DELAY ORDINANCE
It is hereby certified that the Salem Historical Commission has waived the Demolition Delay Ordinance
for the proposed demolition as described below, as per the requirements set forth in the Historic District's
Act (M.G.L. Ch. 40C) and the Salem Historic Districts Ordinance.

Per the Demolition Delay Ordinance, the Commission made the following finding:
1) The Commission voted unanimously to find the garage building not historically significant.
Waiver is conditional upon the following provisions:
▪ Submit three-quarter view photographs of all elevations to the Commission before a building
permit for the work is issued.
▪ Prior to demolition, the applicant will obtain all necessary state and federal permits.
