Ch. 40C) and the Salem Historic Districts Ordinance. District: McIntire Address of Property: 324-328 Essex Street Name of Record Owner: Robert and Christine Guerriero Description of Work Proposed:  Repair and repoint 30-feet of foundation at the back of the driveway. o Existing landscaping will be cleared for this. o Repair stone joints with mortar o Replace backfill and stone. o Mortar to be type N mortar: 1/1/6 mix (Portland cement, hydrated lime and sand) to match existing color, grain size, texture and pointing technique; and o Any new brick to match existing in terms of color, size, texture and design. Non-applicable due to being in-kind repair. There will be no changes in color, material, design, location or outward appearance. Upon completion of above work, please notify Historical Commission staff as final sign-off is required to document compliance with this Certificate and approved plans.
