RE: 80 Willson Street—Permit# B-24-220
Dear Mr. Tejada,
As of May 30, 2024 it has come to my attention that the demolition work being
performed at 80 Willson Street has been done in a manner that did not receive
prior approvals from the Health Department, Fire Prevention and the
Engineering Department Such approvals are necessary for the control of
vermin,proper safety fencing securing the site and the proper disconnection of
the existing structure from the City's water and sewer utilities. Thus permit B-
24-220 is in violation of the 780 CMR Massachusetts State Residential Building
Code, Sections R105.3.1 and R.107.3.4, and work must Cease and Desist
immediately.
No further work may be done until such time as the order is lifted. Any person
who shall continue any work in or about the building or structure after having
been served with a Stop Work Order, except such work as that person is directed
to perform. To remove a violation or unsafe condition, shall be liable to a fine of
not more than $100 or by imprisonment for not more than one year, or both for
each violation; with each day constituting a separate violation.
