(978)745-9595 DOMINICK PANGALLO STAVROULA ORFANOS MAYOR BUILDING COMMISSIONER/DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC PROPERTY/ ZONING OFFICER Violation Letter April 10, 2024 Junior Eder Puerta Abdreia Fernanadez Bombonato 14 Earles Row Wilmington MA 01887 RE: 7 Cloutman Street On Friday April 51h, 2024, 1 was requested by the Fire Department to inspect the property located at 7 Cloutman Street. Upon my arrival I was directed to the first-floor unit and the basement which I observed bedrooms in violation of CMR 780 sec. 1030.1 emergency escape and rescue openings. In the basement bathroom there was a large opening on the floor due to water penetration. All occupants were directed not to use the bedrooms located in the basement due to the life safety violations. An additional inspection was conducted on Monday April 81h, 2024, by Building, Health, Fire, and the Plumbing Inspectors, during the inspection it was observed that the basement had flooded with more water and at this time the Fire Inspector shut the water main off. During the inspection of the second- floor unit along with the first-floor unit it was confirmed each unit only had one exit, which is a violation of CMR 780 Sec. 1006.2.1 number of exits required. At this time all occupants of both units were directed not to stay in the dwellings due to the safety violations. You are directed to contact the Building Department upon receipt of this letter to discuss the correction of all safety violations, failure to comply will result in Building Code violation tickets and further enforcement.
