Dear Homeowner,
Our Department has received and confirmed a complaint of a fence hanging over the rear
property line onto the other property. This is a violation of CMR 780 102.8 the owner shall
maintain the safety of structures.
You are directed to correct this violation immediately and to call this office upon receipt of this
letter. Failure to comply will result in municipal code tickets and further enforcement actions.
If you are aggrieved by this order, your appeal is to the Board of Buildings, Regulations and
Standards in Boston.
