OBSERVATIONS:
This report follows a site visit to test the earthwork for floor slab base.
The writer arrived at lam and reported to Chris Benton. Mr. Benton directed the writer to floor slab
base under the mezzanine. The writer performed a total of 15 field density tests was performed in
accordance with the ASTM D6938 Nuclear Densometer method of testing. The field density test results
were found to be in excess of 95° relative compaction of the MID derived from the modified proctor test
(ASTM D1557) . The field density test results are in conformance with project specifications. All test
results passed. All compaction was firm, stable and dry. These testing results were reported to Mr.
Benton during this visit. Areas reviewed and/or tested were based on elevations, stakeouts or work
