Dear Bill:
On Thursday, June 23, 1988, Harry and Stacey Fraser, owners of The
Grapevine Restaurant located at 26 Congress Street appeared before the
Salem Conservation Commission to present their plans for the renovation
of the existing restaurant .
The Commission unanimously decided that the proposed work will have
no effect on the coastal bank and does not require a formal filing with
the Commission.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Re` The Grapevine Restaurant j
Dear Mr. Munroe:
Per our telephone conversation last Monday regarding the above
referenced project, a suspended ceiling in the entire kitchen area
will be built utilizing 2 layers of 5/811 Firelode Gypsum Wallboard
dropped to an elevation of approximately ten feet above the finished
floor elevation of the kitchen. The framing of the ceiling will be
designed to support the full dead load of the materials applied with less
than 4' deflection for the longest span.
