Notices were sent to abutters and others in accordance with Mass. General Laws, Chapter 808. The notice of hearing was duly published in the Salem Evening News advising the public of said hearing. The Petitioners represented themselves before the Board. They wish to install an ingrotmd pool and to do so they need a variance on the sideline requirement. The sideline will be less than the six feet required under the Salem Zoning Ordinance. The Petitioner noted the property is all fenced in. The Board voted to grant the variance requested with the following restrictions: 1. The pool will not be in use after 10:00 P.M. or before 7:00 A.M. 2. No lights will be on during those hours from 10:00 P.M. or before 7:00 A.M. at the pool area.
