The Undersigned hereby petitions the Board of Appeals to vary the terms of the Salem Zoning Ordinance and allow the project to be
constructed as per the plans submitted,as the enforcement of said Zoning By-Laws would involve practical difficulty or unnecessary
hardship to the Undersigned and relief may be granted without substantially derogating from the intent and purpose of the Zoning
Ordinance.

RE: 1 Rosedale Ave—Salem MA
The owner of the above referenced property is seeking to remove an existing dilapidated solarium structure,and
replace it with a new single story wood framed addition in the same location. We are proposing to extend the length a
little to gain a little more living space because the house is quite small. The proposed addition is modest in nature and
will not adversely affect the neighborhood. It has been designed to fit the existing aesthetic of the house and
neighborhood by extension.There will be no impact to Traffic, Utilities, or the natural environment. The Additional
square footage totals 65 SE All drainage from any new impervious surfaces will be handled directly on site. There will
no impact on City Tase Base from this project.
