While the City appreciates your attempt to beautify the property, the landscaping may be interpreted as an attempt to utilize City property as your own, which you can understand is a precedent the City does not want to start. In addition, as the arborvitaes grow, there is potential for them to cause line-of-sight issues for vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the area.
