Dear Mr. Maurice:
In response to a complaint from the Salem Health Department this Department
inspected the premises located at 2-4 Clifton Avenue owned by you on January 23,
1979.
The inspection revealed the following:
The property is located in a Residential - Two (2) Family Zone and to presently
being occupied as a Multi - Family dwelling.
Records in this Office do not show any permission being granted by the Sales
Board of Appeals to convert the property from its former Two (2) Family status
to the present Four (4) Family.
You are therefore ordered to contact this Office within seven (7) days of receipt
of this order with your plana to bring the property into compliance with the
Zoning Ordinances of the City of Salem.
Your failure to comply will result in legal action being taken agaAAgt you by
this Department and the City of Salem.
