184.5 North Street Apt. 1 Water Complaint Letter 7-6-2020 REECEIVED Sunday, June 28, 2020 JUL 0..6 2020 CITY OF SALEM BOARD OF HEALTH To the Health Department: Last summer you &the Section 8 Inspector came over to 184 1/2 North Street, Apt. #1, Salem, MA in regards to a water problem - that "ALL" the cold water is coming out of my H/W heater & I wanted you to inforce that the Landlord, Teddy Eliopoulos to get his own HAW heater but you would NOT comply. A lot of thing's HAVE NOW changed to which I was Mastering the Skill on taking a Shower when NOBODY was using the machines in the Laundry room (as you saw the washing machine in the basement). Since the beginning of the spring & continuing until the weater freezes, the 3rd floor tenant's use the back yard hose on a daily basis. Infact the Landlord moved the Spiket to the back of the side of the house so I wouldn't trip over the house coming/going. Even in the rain that hose is being used. NOW, the landlord HAS ALLOWED the girl on the 2nd floor to have a Washing Machine for the PAST Couple of months - She does HER Families laundry EVERYDAY using the Cold water. That machine is Non-Stop from every day including Sunday's. I can hear when her washing machine is off of Ailment & I tell the landlord. I can also hear her Gas Dryer, as that pole runs right through my kitchen & it clicks against my kitchen ceiling. I have brought up, what I just told you to the landlord, & he gave the 2nd floor tenant the times that she can use the washing machine - What a pity, she does what she want's too do, & I keep going without! ALL the landlord has been saying & I quote: "If my water bill is higher then the past bills, your going to have to pay me the difference." So, when do you think, with everything going @ the same time with the Water Issue's of every day when do you NOW think, that I can take a shower w/o getting burnt from the Water Pressure? The landlord should get his OWN Water heater, just like he HAD TO GET HIS OWN HOUSEMETER, what would be the difference? Sincerely, f
