Violation(s) Based upon a tenant complaint a permitted inspection was conducted in accordance with Article II of the State Sanitary Code, 105 CMR 410.000. Upon inspection, the following were noted: 7 days .551 1. One kitchen window has a ripped screen. Repair screen so it is intact and in good condition. Owner to correct this violation within 7 days. 7 days .500 2. There is some staining on the ceiling tiles over the kitchen sink, indicating a leak. Investigate for source of leaks and repair: replace tiles so ceiling is intact and in good condition. Owner.to correct this violation within 7 days. 7 days .500 3. There is a stained ceiling tile in the bathroom. Investigate for any leaks and repair: replace tile so ceiling is intact and in good condition. Remove all mildewed caulking and replace, and repair/replace any damaged tiles so entire tub enclosure is intact and in good condition. Owner to correct this violation within 7 days. 3 days .190 5. Water at the tub was recorded to be 90 degrees F and ran slightly yellow. Hot water must be provided at a minimum temperature of 110 degrees F to no higher than 130 degrees F. Adjust hot water heater or other necessary fixtures to ensure this requirement is met and that water supply at tub is of standard quality for use and not yellow. Owner to correct this violation within 3 days. 7 days .351 6. The fan in the kitchen ceiling shakes when turned on. Repair/secure fan so it is properly installed/mounted on the ceiling and is in safe condition for use. Owner to correct this violation within 7 days. 7 days .551 7.
